I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Identifying the object types
Certificates can be issued to users, computers, services or network devices. User certificates are mainly used for authentication process. Certificates can also be used with application or service. User certificates will be installed under a user certificate store. Computer certificates allow to uniquely identify the device and based on certificate, application or services can decide if it should allow to connect. Network devices are allowed to use X.509 certificates, and it can be used to certify the device and encrypt the traffic passing through it.
