In the previous chapters, we looked at Active Directory infrastructure components and how to design an identity infrastructure using these components, as well as different technologies and methodologies. Now it's time to look at Active Directory Domain Service installation and migrations. It would be perfect if we could design and implement an identity infrastructure from scratch, but a majority of organizations require the ability to migrate from one version of Active Directory to a newer version to use the new features or enhancements.
