The CA hierarchy
Root CA in PKI can have more subordinate CAs. It will create a PKI hierarchy and number of subordinate based on the organization requirements. There are mainly two type of hierarchy design which is two-tier and three-tier. These will be explained in the next section in detail but in here what I want to emphasize is selecting correct hierarchy model will reduce operation cost and resource wastage.
