Prepared state
The following steps demonstrate the prepared state:
- Log into the domain controller as the Domain Admin or Enterprise Admin.
- Launch the PowerShell console.
- Type dfsrmig /setglobalstate 1:
- Type dfsrmig /getmigrationstate to confirm all the domain controllers have reached the Prepared state:
