Virtualized environment requirements

Today, virtualization solutions allow organizations to build their own private cloud or use public cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS. AD DS 2016 provides support for both scenarios. If it's private cloud, it will give more control over resource allocation, but in public cloud, it will depend on the subscription plans and the amount the organization is capable of spending.

I have listed the minimum requirements for virtualized environment, as follows:

• 1.4 GHz 64-bit processor
• 2 GB RAM
• Virtual SCSI storage controller
• 32 GB free space
• 1 x virtual network adapter
