Custom views
Event Viewer allows creating Custom Views based on event level, time, log type, source type, event ID, task category, keywords, users, or computer. Event Viewer has thousands of different events. Using custom views, we can filter it and grab the information we are looking for. All these custom-made views will be listed under the Custom Views section. It also has predefined custom views.
These are based on the server roles. When Active Directory Domain Services roles are added, it also creates a custom view in the event log to group all the Active Directory Domain Services-related events:
