Performing the Installation

Finally! You actually get to run Exchange Server Setup. You can run Setup from either the Exchange Server 2007 DVD or a shared network installation point. If you are using the DVD, you have only to insert the disc and watch Setup start automatically. If you install over the network, find and run the Setup program yourself. There could be multiple versions of the installation files for different encryption levels and for different languages. Be sure you find the right files for your situation. If you perform a typical installation of Exchange Server 2007, the setup program is found in the root folder of the DVD.
