Filtering Recipients

When you have relatively few recipients, it is easy to find specific recipients or groups of recipients by simply ordering your list using the column headers in the Exchange Management Console. However, when you have hundreds or thousands of recipients in an organization, you need more powerful tools for isolating the recipients you want to work with. The Exchange Management Console offers a filtering tool for recipients so that only selected types of recipients are shown. For example, you can choose to view only mailbox users or only contacts, or you can create more complex filters that let you view only recipients for which a certain attribute is true.
