Managing Public Folder Databases in the Exchange Management Console

If during Exchange Server 2007 installation, you indicated that your organization did not contain versions of Outlook previous to Outlook 2007, then public folders are not enabled by default. You need to create a new public folder database in order to use public folders. Depending on the size of your public folder infrastructure, you may also want to create multiple public folder databases.

Creating a New Public Folder Database
