Complete Coexistence Notes

Running in a coexistence scenario can present challenges when it comes to trying to figure out which management tool to use for a particular job and what features work between software versions. Microsoft has made available a complete list of Exchange Server 2003 features along with management version compatibility notes. Table 7-2 lists Exchange Server 2003 features and, if present, those features’ Exchange Server 2007 counterparts. Further, because Exchange Server 2003 is managed from both the Exchange System Manager and the Active Directory Users and Computers tool, Table 7-3 lists the ADUC-based features of Exchange Server 2003 along with Exchange Server 2007 equivalencies.
