Exchange Server 2007 supports a wide variety of clients, including Outlook, Windows Mail (and Outlook Express), Outlook Web Access, Exchange Client, Schedule+, and standard Internet e-mail clients. Outlook 2007 is the current standard client for Exchange Server 2007 because it provides the most functionality and is the clear upgrade path for forthcoming Exchange clients.

Windows Mail is a capable client for Exchange Server 2007 as long as the server is configured for POP3 or IMAP4 access.
