Microsoft makes tools available to help test the performance of a server before putting Exchange Server 2007 into production. While these tools are not designed to monitor or tune ongoing performance of an existing Exchange server, they are useful for gauging the performance of an Exchange server before it is put into production by simulating loads on the server.
