Coexistence Administration Issues

There are some important points to make about using the Exchange System Manager and the Exchange Management Console or the Exchange Management Shell. Only the Exchange Management Console or the Exchange Management Shell can be used to manage Exchange Server 2007. Also, some Exchange Server 2003 objects can be edited from within these Exchange Server 2007 tools. On the flip side, the Exchange Server 2003 Exchange System Manager can view many Exchange Server 2007 objects, but cannot manage these objects.
