Part B: Medical Payments Coverage
Medical payments coverage is frequently included in the Personal Auto Policy. Medical payments are paid without regard to fault.
Insuring Agreement
Under this provision, the company will pay all reasonable medical and funeral expenses incurred by an insured for services rendered within 3 years from the date of the accident. Covered expenses include medical, surgical, X-ray, dental, and funeral expenses. The benefit limits typically range from $1,000 to $10,000 per person and apply to each insured individual who is injured in the accident.
