So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Hopefully, you have worked for at least one in the past. If you did, then that
experience will stick in your mind, because it always stands out.
Unfortunately, effective leaders at work are all too rare. Leadership has
become a bit of a buzzword in some organisations, often talked about, but
not always applied in a meaningful and consistent way. Pick any randomly
selected group of managers and very few will disagree with the principles
of leadership, but only a minority will translate their words into action.
