Dialing a Phone Number from an Email

If someone sends you an email that has a phone number in it, you can simply tap the phone number to dial it. A box will pop up with the number, and Call and Cancel buttons. Tap the Call button, and your iPhone will automatically switch over to the Phone app and place the call. Once you’re finished with your call, you can tap the End button. This will take you back to your email message.
