The way you keep things organized in your Music Library is by creating playlists, which are basically collections of your favorite songs. So, for example, if you wanted to create a collection of nothing but your favorite songs to listen to in the car, you would start by clicking on the + (plus sign) button at the bottom-left corner of the iTunes window. This adds a new blank playlist to your Source list, and its name is highlighted so you can type in a name (how about “Scott’s Driving Tunes”?).
