When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Scrubbing Through a Song
The term “scrubbing” comes from the world of video editing, and it basically means that once a video is playing, you can grab the progress bar’s slider knob and quickly move (scrub) it forward or backward through a video’s timeline, seeing the video in fast speed as you move in either direction. The iPhone has this too, but your iPhone’s scrubbing isn’t just for video—you can scrub forward/backward through a song, podcast, audiobook, music video, etc., and you can not only go fast, but can also go very slowly and precisely if you want. You do this using the progress bar that appears onscreen (shown above circled in red) ...
