When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Use Your iPhone 4S to Dictate into Other Apps
With an iPhone 4S, you can ask Siri questions and get answers back. You can also use the speech recognition of the iPhone 4S to dictate messages or text in other apps. If you’re in an app and you see a microphone icon on your keyboard, then you can tap the microphone icon and start talking instead of typing. While the iPhone 4S is pretty good at speech recognition, it doesn’t automatically punctuate. You’ll actually have to say the word “period” at the end of a sentence to have your iPhone 4S add a period. It works best in small bits, instead of trying to dictate long paragraphs.
