When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Turn on the Birthday Calendar
If you’re good about adding people’s birthdays to their contact info, you can use the built-in Birthdays calendar. This calendar will appear along with the rest of your calendars if it’s turned on (tap on the Calendar app, then tap Calendars at the top left, and you’ll see it under Other), and people’s birthdays will automatically appear in it when you have their birthday in their contact info (from a contact’s Info screen, tap Edit, then near the bottom, tap Add Field. Tap Birthday, enter the birthday from the scroll wheels, and tap Done). They will show up as all-day events that don’t block your time. Sadly, there ...
