Did you ever check in at a hotel, only to have the clerk tell you that they can’t find your reservation? They ask you for your confirmation number and then you have to start digging. Why not have these little important pieces of information in the Notes field of a contact or in the Notes field of your calendar event? For example, when I’m going to take a flight somewhere, I usually block that time out on my calendar. I also put the address of the hotel and my confirmation number right in the Notes field of this event.
