When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
TiVo To Go
If you own a TiVo Series 2, Series 3, or TiVo HD, then you can transfer most of your recorded TV shows or movies from your TiVo to your computer using TiVo’s TiVo-To-Go option. On a PC, there is a TiVo-To-Go app that you can download directly from TiVo’s website (TiVo Desktop Plus software for PC). On a Mac, this functionality is available through Roxio’s Toast Titanium software CD/DVD burning app. Once you have the TiVo-To-Go option set up, you can transfer unrestricted TV shows or movies directly from your TiVo DVR to your Mac or PC over your home network.
