In iOS 5, you can do some key photo editing tasks right on your iPhone—things like cropping, rotating, removing red eye, and even enhancing the overall exposure of your photo. Start by tapping on the photo you want edit in your Camera Roll (or other album), then tap the Edit button at the top-right corner of the screen. This brings up a menu bar along the bottom of the screen. To rotate your image, tap the Rotate button (on the left).
