Searching and Handling the Results

Scroll up to the top of your Inbox, and you’ll see a search bar. Tap in it, key in what you want to search for, and (new in iOS 5) tap the From, To, or Subject buttons to search in those fields, or tap All to search the entire body of your emails for any keywords or phrases that you want. To get rid of the keyboard, tap the Search button at the bottom right of it. Once your search results appear without the keyboard, you can tap the Edit button in the lower right of the screen, then select each message that you want to move (file away), delete, or mark by tapping on the circle in front of each one.
