I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
DFW Saved Configurations
Whenever a DFW rule is created, deleted or modified, and the change is published, NSX Manager will generate an autosaved configuration, and this can be viewed under the Saved Configurations tab. At the time of writing, the maximum that NSX Manager will save is up to 100 configurations, as per the NSX 6.3 for vSphere recommended configuration maximums (https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-NSX-for-vSphere/6.3/NSX%20for%20vSphere%20Recommended%20Configuration%20Maximums_63.pdf).
In NSX 6.2.3 and later, this autosave feature (also called the auto drafts feature) can be disabled via a REST API call. Disabling the auto drafts feature might improve performance especially when making large numbers of changes to the DFW rules. ...
