So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
To configure the ESG for load balancing, the following prerequisites must be met:
- User with NSX Enterprise Administrator or NSX Administrator role
- NSX edge firewall must be enabled, as load balancing services rely on this feature
- vSphere cluster where the edge will be deployed to; it must be prepared for NSX
- Target ESXi hosts must have sufficient capacity to run the ESG virtual machine
