I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
To configure NSX Primary and Secondary roles, the following prerequisites must be satisfied:
- User with NSX Enterprise Administrator or NSX Administrator role
- NSX Managers in both vCenter domains must be deployed
- Each NSX Manager should be registered against its corresponding vCenter server
- Each NSX Manager should be registered against the platform services controller for single sign-on services
- Each NSX Manager must have both forward and reverse DNS records
- Each NSX Manager should have DNS and NTP configured and resolvable
- Connectivity between each NSX Manager's be open and accessible
- VXLAN UDP port numbers of the Primary and secondary NSX Manager match
