So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Validating VXLAN and VTEP configuration
Follow these steps to validate the VXLAN and VTEP configuration:
- Navigate to Networking Security | Installation | Host Preparation and make sure the VXLAN column for the vSphere cluster that you have configured shows Configured with a green tick:
- Navigate to the Installation | Logical Network Preparation tab | and VXLAN Transport sub-tab. In the center pane, expand the applicable vSphere cluster and verify that Switch (vDS), VLAN, MTU, VMKNic addressing, Teaming Policy, and the number of VTEPs shows the correct configuration:
