I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

As mentioned in the introduction, software-based gateway bridging allows routing and bridging to work together. We can create a logical switch, for example App-Tier logical switch, that connects to the DLR and at the same time is bridged to a VLAN-backed dvPortGroup on VLAN 102, as shown in the following diagram:
For a logical switch that is bridged and routed to DLR at the same time, the logical switches will have an i icon that says Routing Enabled, as shown in App-Tier logical switch in the following screenshot:
