I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Configuring bridging
The following steps will show you how to configure software-based layer 2 bridging:
- Navigate to Networking & Security | Installation | NSX Edges. In the centre pane, double-click the desired logical router. In our example, we are interested in Distributed-Router-01. Select Manage tab | Bridging and click the green plus sign to open the Add Bridge dialog box:
- Input a Name for the bridge, in this example Bridge-VLAN103-DB.
- Select a Logical Switch that you want to bridge to a VLAN-backed Distributed Port Group, in this example DB-Tier.
