Signals of frustration can be monitored with electronic sensors that collect data
about changes to the human body. The sensors that measure the physiological
indicator can be categorized by its method of gathering data. Sensors gather data
intrusively and/or passively. Intrusive sensors are usually attached to human and
may get in the way of a user and the computer. However researchers have found
ways to overcome this by embedding intrusive sensors into everyday devices used
along with the computer, Anttonen and Surakka, 2005.
