The dependent variables of the study were individual participant’s blink rate
ratio, heart rate ratio and immersion level. After every participant’s left eye blink
activities being video recorded and the blink numbers being counted by the software
“Blink Statistic” for each game period, the period blink rate could be calculated
through blink number divided by the period time. The value then was divided by
