(Function high versus low functional features) mixed design. Form and brand
were manipulated as between subject variables. UID and function were manipulated
as within subject variables. Based on pretest data, the form, function, UID and
brand stimuli were combined to generate pictures of 16 MP3 player product models.
For high and low function, three features as storage (8GB or 64GB), WiFi (Yes or
No) and Song Management (Advanced or Standard) were provided. (See Figure 1
for product design stimuli). Participants rated four randomly selected products. The
presentation order of the products was also completely randomized.
