When we design a product or an artifact, the design solution should consider the
user’s social, cultural, and emotional needs as well as their physical constrains. This
paper introduces a framework of the connectivity model and demonstrates how this
model can be applied to the design process of products and services for diverse
users. The connectivity model is a design and evaluation method based on the
mental trilogy, kansei engineering, and activity theory. This new model
