2.4 MAIN EXPERIMENT
We produced ten types of motion video footages based on the findings in
preliminary experiments. Table 1 shows the names and the lengths of the motion
footages. The ten types of motions are as follows:
Spin: Roomba spins around like a top spinning at a spot.
Back: Roomba moves backward as it leaves the home.
Spiral: Roomba moves along an outward spiral.
Zigzag: Roomba moves forward in sharp angles.
Bounce: Roomba changes the direction of travel after colliding with an
object.
Home: Roomba slowly moves forward when entering home.
Turn: Roomba changes the direction of travel using rotating motion.
Dizzy: Roomba wonders at nearly constant speed.
Pattern: Roomba repeats similar motion.
