ABSTRACT
Haptic icons are the icons based on haptic stimuli, from which users can
intuitively perceive information, such as abstract concepts and emotional contents.
In this study, we focused on haptic icons as a medium of conveying emotions, and
tried to find whether haptic icons can deliver to users a specific emotion, such as
pleasure or unpleasure, distinctively by investigating user’s perception to different
types of vibrotactile stimuli in term of pleasure. ...
