Visual Controls
The status of virtually every process should be visible in Lean
management. If takt time is the heart of Lean production, visual controls
and the processes surrounding them represent the nervous system in
Lean management. Visual controls are even more important in office
processes; work in offices moves in the IT network where it cannot
