Often things are done in a sequential manner. For example, in order to prepare tea,
firstly water is boiled, and then leaves are added. A sequential job means (i) to remember
what steps are to be done next, and (ii) to recall which step has just been finished.
A storage device or a series of storage devices are needed in order to do the things se-
