We learnt in Chapter 14 the following concepts:

1. A sequential circuit is a circuit made up by combining the logic gates such that

the required logic at the output(s) depends not only on the current input logic con-

ditions but also on the past inputs, outputs and sequences.

2. A sequential circuit has the memory elements like flip flops and a combinational

circuit(s) has no memory elements.
