10.2DECODER
A decoder is a circuit that converts the binary information from one form to another. A
decoder selects a unique combination of inputs and according to that information generates
a unique output(s) at one-line (or at multiple lines).
10.2.1Decoder (Line Decoder)
Let us assume that we have eight circuits to implement the different functionsOne is for
addition, other is for subtraction, other for incrementing, and so on. We have to select only
one by giving appropriate instruction input. A decoder will let us select only one.
