Synopsis
Use CHIINV to find the inverse chi-squared distribution of a value with the specified degrees of freedom. To use this function you must know the probability value for the distribution.
To Calculate
=CHIINV(Probability,Degrees_Freedom)
Both arguments are required for this function.
Example
Figure 15-4 illustrates how CHIINV is used to find
the inverse value for a chi-distribution. The value returned by the
function is fairly close to the initial X
value of CHIDIST.
