Located west of Huntsville, Alabama, Westpoint-Taylor was (back in 1999) a small systems services shop that employed about 30 people. Small as it was, the company was riding a wave of wild success. Its people possessed an early expertise in Ajax techniques that they used to develop interactive Web applications quickly and with much finesse.
