The Purpose of This Book
The main purpose of this book, then, is a simple one: to provide a set of practical guidelines and techniques that can be applied to the management of technology projects so that anticipated outcomes can be more fully realized. Throughout, this set of practices and techniques is borrowed from an industry known for its ability to achieve predefined outcomes: the motion picture industry.
