A Starting Point
One approach is to develop a list of initial possible dimensions for the survey. Such a list can be obtained or developed from a number of sources:
Previous surveys
This book's list
Consultants or consulting firms
Published surveys
Employee handbooks
Company policies and procedures
A questionnaire
All of these can be used to create an initial list. They are discussed in detail below:
