I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
A Starting Point
One approach is to develop a list of initial possible dimensions for the survey. Such a list can be obtained or developed from a number of sources:
Previous surveys
This book's list
Consultants or consulting firms
Published surveys
Employee handbooks
Company policies and procedures
A questionnaire
All of these can be used to create an initial list. They are discussed in detail below:
Previous Surveys. For the reasons already mentioned, a consistency in employee opinion surveys is preferred, so if your company has conducted previous surveys, that should be your starting point.
