If your company has no previous surveys with which to compare, you can compare your survey results with those from similar industries, size companies, competitors, or companies in the same geographic area. If you do this, attempt to compare with companies that are the most similar to your company and only use dimensions that are defined as your dimensions are. Also, be aware of any conditions that may be affecting the comparison companies, such as reductions in force, expansion of operations, and legal problems.
