Overview of Applications Used Throughout This Book

The application is called the Personal Trade System. This is a stock trading application with several use cases. Figure 3-1 illustrates the complete use case diagram.

  • Login— This use case represents a login page to the system.

  • LogOff— This use case implements an explicit logout function that invalidates all credentials and session data.

  • Get Current Stock Data— This is a submission form where the user enters the symbol, and the system returns stock data. Figures 3-2 and 3-3 show the screens.
