One of the ironies of the anti-immigrant rhetoric is that, eventually, Latino immigration will stop all by itself. These immigrants did not come to the United States for political asylum or religious freedom. They came here to work because there was work. The immigration/border issue will be resolved in less than five years without any help from vigilantes, rabid politicians, and needless legislation. The current immigration situation in the United States is precipitated by uneven demography.
