Adjusting Your Caloric Intake
After you know the difference between the number of calories you eat in a day and the number of calories you use in a day, you can start to make adjustments. If the net result is positive, then you’ll need to cut calories from your diet. If you’re overweight you’ll actually need to go below the number of calories you use. Unfortunately, this is an uphill battle according to the research of Dr. Rudy Leibel, a molecular geneticist at Columbia University.
