The five tests listed next are designed to measure each of the dimensions of fitness. They are based on the adult version of the Presidential Physical Fitness Test.[164] We’ll discuss how to carry them out and what your goals should be. Later in the chapter, we’ll discuss how to get better at them. Let’s begin with the one you’ve been dreading since grade school—it’s not as bad as you remember.
1.5 Mile Walk/Run Test
