I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

People believe what they want to believe
I read something interesting recently. Researchers took two groups of people with opposing political views on a particular topic, and gave them each statistics and other relevant data – hard facts – about it. They discovered that regardless of which side of the argument they were on, people believed that the facts supported their view.
What we believe isn’t just about objective facts. It’s about our whole outlook on the world, which is a complicated mix of how we were raised, our past experiences, what our friends believe, who we want to impress, how we see ourselves.
